Components

All Global Components will be visually represented here, and can be found in the   Components panel to the left to add anew instance. Use the Ctrl/Cmd + E shortcut in Designer to search for a component by name and add it to the canvas easily.

CMS Components note - to edit CMS Collection settings (filter, sort, etc.) the component should first be unlinked. To do this, first choose your layout settings for the component, then right click the component on the canvas > select "unlink instance", or use shortcut Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + A to unlink. Then, select the Collection List and edit your settings in the Settings panel to the right.

To use a component as a "template" to build a new layout, you can place it on the canvas, unlink it, and create your new layout from there. There are many ways to use Components!

What data does Cocoon collect from Workday?

Cocoon will collect only the employee information we need for key leave functions we perform, such as calculating employee eligibility and pay or pre-populating claim forms. This information includes things like address, tenure, and salary information.

How long does implementation take?

The two-way integration implementation typically takes between two to four weeks depending on your team’s bandwidth. Our Product and Engineering teams will work closely with your Workday Administrator and can move as quickly as you can to get the integrations live.

What does a Workday integration cost?

Our Workday census integration (to pull info from Workday) is free of charge. The two-way integration (to push data back to Workday) is subject to an annual fee of $1,000-$3,000 depending on your team’s size and Workday setup.

What data does Cocoon sync back to Workday?

Right now, we can sync employees' “On leave” status plus specific leave dates for each employee. Leave dates will automatically update in Workday any time an employee changes their leave plan.
