Better employee experience for filing New Jersey state claims

Who it’s for: Employees who are eligible for New Jersey Disability or Family Leave Insurance
What it does: Over the past several months, we’ve noticed more and more delays with NJ processing any claims they receive via fax. Cocoon’s new experience will give employees step-by-step instructions to submit their claims online not only to avoid those delays, but also to help employees fill out their claim forms faster.
We do this with three simple steps:
1. Linking directly to where they can create their New Jersey TDI account
2. Creating custom tasks with relevant due dates (screenshot below) and email reminders
3. Providing a Claims Copilot so they can easily copy/paste info needed for their claim (like start date, weekly earnings, etc.) pulled from your census
More options for custom emails

Who it's for: Workspace & Proxy Admins
What it does: In Q4 2025, we launched our custom email creator that allows Admins to create and customize their own automated emails, for each leave type, that go straight to leave-takers.
In January we made the tool even more flexible with two key improvements:
1. You can now add CC recipients to custom emails sent through Cocoon. When creating or editing custom emails, you can select which roles should be CC’d—whether it’s specific Admin types, associated HRBP(s), or the employee’s manager, you can keep everyone in the loop with the right information, at the right time.
2. You can trigger emails to automatically send to employees one week before their return-to-work date
ADP Workforce Now® Next Generation

Who it’s for: Employers who use (or are considering) this HRIS
What it does: Our API integration now supports ADP Workforce Now Next Gen. Users of this HRIS can automatically and securely sync census information with Cocoon.
