Frank Alvarez

Founding Legal Counsel at Cocoon

Frank Alvarez has 34 years of private employment law experience. Before joining Cocoon as Founding Legal Counsel in February 2022, he spent 32 years with the national workplace law firm Jackson Lewis. In 2003, Frank founded Jackson Lewis’ Disability, Leave & Health Management Practice, the nation’s first employment law practice dedicated exclusively to advising on integrated disability and absence management issues. He was among the first attorney members of the Disability Management Employer Coalition (DMEC), the nation’s only association dedicated to providing focused education, knowledge, and networking for absence and disability professionals. In 2017, DMEC awarded Frank its Partnership Award, recognizing his support and dedication to DMEC and its members. Frank currently serves as a member of DMEC’s Board of Directors.

Rahab Hammad

Director of Product Management, Benefits at Sequoia

Rahab is a strategic and innovative benefits and well-being leader who is passionate about designing and developing total rewards ecosystems that align with the company's mission and values. With over 10 years of experience in leading the direction and execution of benefits and wellbeing strategies for global organizations like Snap and Okta, she is now the Director of Product Management for Benefits at Sequoia; leveraging her expertise in benefits to deliver scalable and impactful benefits product solutions for clients and partners.
